Have You Seen My Basket? - Hottie & Holiday

Saturday, March 22, 2008

I've been trying to figure out how to approach today. I mean, for many, it's a holiday. But, for many, it's not. Since I think political correctness is destroying humankind, I eventually said f*&k it and decided to just say HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!!!

In the true spirit of the holiday, I've posted some fun images to bring a smile to your face, perhaps a much needed chuckle if you've been with the family all day, and since it's still a Sunday, a little hotness.

I see this one to the left every year and it never fails to crack me up. No idea why. But you know you're going to see this and then look at the chocolate bunny sitting on your countertop just a little bit differently.

I included this one on the right because I just knew this is the bunny we would have on this ship. This is one piece of tail that knows how to party. Which pretty much makes him the sixth piece of tail on this crew. *g*

And because I've driven about 17 hours in less than two days and I'm about to head off to dream land, I decided this is what I want to find waiting for me. Think I'm asking for too much?

No matter what you're doing or celebrating today, have a good one, don't eat too many of those nasty Cadberry Eggs, and for the love of Pete, don't make any more of those naughty pictures with the poor Peeps!

I'm pretty sure I've had at least a dozen, probably 2 dozen Cadbury Creme Eggs this year. Making up, quite easily, for the dearth of eggs I've had in previous years. Strangely I haven't burnt out on them. Isn't that weird?

Glad you're back safe and sound, Bo'sun.

You're right about the safe part but I'm not sure about the sound part. LOL! Course, I wasn't too sound before I left.

I would like to say that this drive is MUCH easier than the one I usually do and I'm pretty sure I set a time record on this one. I turned what the computer maps said was an almost 10 hr drive into barely an 8 hr one. Yeah, I'm good. LOL!

I'm glad your home safe babe!

I love the Cadbury Eggs! I never get burned out from them but I didn't get any this year. *shaking head* I know. I know. I should've.

Happy Easter pirates and wenches!

Just popping by to give props to my Peeps. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Cadbury Eggs are my all time fav Easter-y chocolate. Yum!

And yum to your little bed warmer. And hoping he's not - you know - little!

What? You don't like Cadbury eggs? I haven't had any yet but my fingers are crossed that I'll find some in my basket. Glad you're home to bring the snark and sex.

I love Cadbury Eggs! I've only allowed myself one this year, but, honey, it was fabulous!!!
I'm glad your trip went well. And as the sister of a Highway Patrol Officer I'm willing to overlook that eight hour trip, assuming that some speeding might have been involved.lol.j/k.
Happy Easter to all and to all a good...er...day;)

So I'm the only pirate here who thinks those eggs are disgusting? Fine. I'm used to being the odd one out when it comes to food. LOL!

I have NO candy in my house. Since kiddo is gone for the week, I can buy all the clearance stuff after the holiday and be the cool mom with the mounds of candy when she gets home. *g*

Santa - Did you HAVE to go there?! LOL!

Oh my... he's cute... I'll tuck him in.

Happy Easter everyone... it's been nuts with family stuff round here... brother visiting and playing drunk scrabble--highly recommended... I'm in my lazy zone today all our dinners are done, all our hunts are done.

I've had turtles, no cadbury yet, but very soon I'll be jumping that bandwagon, I'm a whore for candy and choco all at once... I like the caramel eggs the most...mmmmmmmm....

Terri, I am happy that your journey was a safe one.

I haven't had any Cadbury eggs, but I did have a Snickers egg, a chocolate fudge egg, and a strawberry mousse egg. Tomorrow I'll have salad and water.

I also had a conversation with a six-year-old male upset because of a pink egg in his Easter basket. "Aunt," said M., "I need to have a talk with that Easter Bunny. He doesn't even know that pink is for girls." :)

Happy Easter all!!

Ter - glad you're back safe and sound. We are too, finally, though 10 hours in the car with a one year old is not my idea of a fun time.

I hate the Cadbury egg as well. Sorta a weird consistency. Though, DH loves them.
